Maharashtra: Schools And Colleges To Reopen After Reviewing Covid-19 Situation

 As everyone knows Vaccination in India is at the highest peak, with more than crores of people getting vaccinated on daily basis, Covid-19 cases also started to reduce day by day yesterday on 1st October 2021 total active  cases in India are only 26,727 and in Maharashtra, only 3063 cases were recorded,


Several states started physical classes in school and college across the country with 50 percent of attendance, however, Maharashtra state is yet to take any decision. The state government is likely to start colleges on 2nd October and schools after Diwali.

Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar on Thursday said that " College will reopen after reviewing the covid-19 situation in the state." He also mentioned that " students above 18 will also get vaccinated by then  and if the situation is under control, a decision to reopen colleges in a phase-wise manner can be taken"


The expert panel also suggested the Maharashtra Government reopen schools in areas with low  covid-19 cases. The educational institution has also been instructed to follow safety protocol to prevent the virus from spreading.
