Jasprit Bumrah not selected in India team for Asia Cup 2022.

India Team for Asia Cup 2022 - After the one sided win against West Indies team in 3 matches ODI & 5 matched T 20 series Indian selection committee announced team for Asia cup 2022 on 08.08.2022.

The cup will start from 27th August and the final will be on 11th September. After the series held between India and WI it was always difficult to select the squad for Asia cup.

Virat Kohli and Lokesh Rahul are included in the teams while Sanju Samson & Shreyas Iyer are not included in the team. After the super performance Deepak Hooda is added in the squad which can be used as a 6th bowling option.

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel are ruled out of the cup due to their injury, instead of them India has taken Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Avesh Khan as a fast bowlers. Hardik Pandya, is the only good all rounder is included in team. 

India have added Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel & Deepak Chahar as a back up option which will be playing if someone gets injured or get ruled out of the cup due to some reason.
